David Baker | Kenyon Review Celebration Readings

The Strand hosted the Writers Studio in their celebration of the Kenyon Review. As part of the celebration, renowned authors and poets gathered in the Rare Book Room to read from their works.

David Baker is the poetry editor of the Kenyon Review and holds the Thomas B. Fordham Chair of Creative Writing at Denison University. He has been awarded fellowships and grants from the Guggenheim Foundation, The National Endowment for the Arts, and the Poetry Society of America. He has authored numerous books of and about poetry, including "Changeable Thunder" and "Sweet Home Saturday Night". His most recent book of poetry is "Scavenger Loop". His works of criticism include "Show Me Your Environment: Essays on Poetry, Poets, and Poems" and "Talk Poetry: Poems and Interviews with Nine American Poets".

Baker closed the celebration of the Kenyon Review with readings of a recent poem by Alison Hutchkraft and a number his own pieces.
