When you subscribe to Bookforum, please provide a complete, correct delivery address. You can report address changes using the phone number, email, or postal address below. Subscribers can update their address by contacting us directly.

If incorrect postal information is provided and delivery fails as a result, Bookforum cannot be held responsible, and cannot re-send missed issues. All back issue purchases are shipped via USPS or local post service. Therefore Bookforum is not responsible for lost or undeliverable items released to a postal carrier. Please contact us if you would like to purchase expedited courier shipping. If you provide an address that does not accept these services, or neglect to retrieve your package from a third-party facility, we are not responsible for non-delivery and will not cover re-delivery or returns costs. All back issues are sent using standard packaging. Bookforum is not responsible for damages incurred due to inclement weather or the fault of a third-party shipper. Due to age please note that all back issues are subject to minimal wear and tear.

We promise to deliver issues promptly, however, cannot guarantee against circumstances outside our control, such as those caused by customs. Bookforum is not responsible for any customs fees.

Print and digital subscribers have access to our online archive via web registration. Logins are for individual subscriber use.

Lost or damaged issue claims must be made within 2 months of original publication date for US subscribers, 3 months for international subscribers. You may make 3 claims per subscription term. Claims for the current issue will be honored after 15th of the month. In lieu of resending missed issues, subscription extensions will be made for all claims.

Barring exceptional circumstances all subscription sales are final. Subscription requests are valid for current or future start dates only. Bookforum does not back date subscriptions.

Bookforum is not responsible for fees incurred in bank or credit card transactions, such as currency conversion or wire transfer charges. When paying via wire transfer please provide proof of payment to circulation@bookforum.com with your invoice and subscription account number, if applicable, to ensure proper processing. Bookforum will not credit your subscription without the required documentation. All payments must be made in USD and all sales are final.

All terms and conditions outlined above also apply to agents or donors making purchases on behalf of individuals. Agencies must provide a correct delivery address, invoice/order number, and subscription account number (when applicable) for proper processing. Bookforum is not responsible for misapplied orders if the information provided is incorrect or missing.
